Default Extra Wheels

This has probably been asked before sorry, I am thinking about getting a 2nd set of wheels that I can put on for longer road trips with street tires on them. I figured that would be easier to get by the wife then buying a second bike for the street. What is the cheepest way to get a 2nd set?

Look for a wrecked bike that has intact rims/hubs that will fit our bikes and then buy some decent street tires for it?

Im guessing you would have a wider front wheel selection if you were not concerened about the spedo. Use current front for street and tach only dirt.

You can get some of these, came off a street version they sell here in Japan. I have this set on my bike from the factory. Rides great on the street, and fits perfectly to the KLX250, even works with the speedo. They can be had for $500-$700 plus shipping, depends on the auction sale price...

And they work great. I bought a set from ddt1972. He shipped them real quick and well packed.

ddt1972 Can you get the Dtracker plastics? I am interested in some rear side panels and the front top part above the headlight.
