Default Exhaust for '09

Hey All,

I have finally saved enough pennies for an aftermarket exhaust system. From what I have read on the site I am convinced that all of the brands produce pretty much the same result. Given that conclusion my primary concern is the fit and installation. I am going to buy the full system and I want to know which one goes on with the least problem. I have heard of melting air boxes and the need to remove the rear pegs etc.. Which exhaust system goes on without any problems? Is there one out there?

The bike is an '09. I would really appreciate some help here.

Thanks,
Craig

I, too have come up with the option of putting a new exhaust on my 09. Today, I just ordered up the full Muzzy exhaust system. In my research, it seems as though one couldn't go wrong with a Muzzy exhaust since Muzzy does the R&D for Kawasaki. I will let you know how it goes. It should be in my hot big hands tomorrow evening.

The bike pictured here is not an 09. Will the Staintune system fit the 09?

That would be great Dave!

Please let me know how it goes. The Muzzy is actually the one at the top of my list.

Yes it will. They have a new muffler design now too. Looks cool. I've seen a full system on an 09 locally. Looked wicked, sounded bad ***.

If in doubt contact them but I'm 99% sure.

Staintune ran on bikes that pushed 40HP. Fact.
