When you whack the throttle to WFO you should see the slide open almost all the way to the top. If that isn't happening then either the port in the carb body that supplies manifold vacuum to the top of the diaphragm is blocked or the diaphragm has a hole in it. The slide not moving will not allow enough fuel/air and the engine will not have any power. As the previous post suggested, you can try holding the slide open and see how it effects how the engine revs out.

Well, after a long day I have the bike dialed in... I think*.

The idle was smoothed out by backing the fuel mixture screw 3 1/4 turn out. (I won't lie, I think this leaned it out but I'm not sure)

The stutter around 6000 RPM was smoothed out by moving to the second clip on the needle from the top (leaning it out a bit)

I still had a stumble around 9k RPM. I dropped from the dj120 main jet to a 116 main and it got better, but still surged a little bit at freeway speed. I realize this goes against the numbers for jetting some of you guys were showing, but nobody else seems to have my same setup so I'm not too worried about it. Thanks for the help!

*Here's the catch - I still think it's slower than it should be. It will bring the front tire off the ground if I give it a little help, but I guess I'm just underwhelmed. Maybe the stock pipe and air-filter are corking it up? Maybe I'm too used to riding a liter-bike? Shrug, I'll update if I have any other breakthroughs.
