Talking Edge tail light KLX 250

Hi everyone,

Just thought i would show u how my edge tail light turned out.

I purchased it from wheeling cycle supply, the guy was friendly and helpful and there was no problems with postage to Australia.

This is it, i bought it in red, i also bought turn signals in smoke.

I made sure to mark left and right on the cables.

I took off the rear fender and all the black plastic, and while i had it off i gave it a bit of a clean. HOW DOES DIRT GET EVERYWHERE!

I started wiring, i left a lot of length, is this a bad thing? Instead of using the provided cable clips. I just used block terminals because i couldn't be bothered going out to buy the crimping tool.

I neatened up the cables with a few cable ties, and put all the terminal connections under the seat.

C-fish that looks great. I have been thinking of doing this mod, a couple questions for you - the light is LED right? I do a lot of street riding, how does the brightness compare to stock? Also, can you use the stock turn signals with it?

Great post! What turn indicators did you use and where did you get them?

Yes the light is LED, the light is smaller than the stocker but is brighter by far. The multiple LED's work much better than just one single incandescent globe like in the stock light.

Yes u can use the stock turn signals but u have to do a bit of fiddling around.

Armycopter did this, his post is what inspired me to change my tail light.

do you mean 601 type flashers? I can't find 606's anywhere.
