The 1/4 turn out worked. Still some popping, but much better and in what I would consider a normal range.

although I did call it an air screw/ which it really isnt. I at least gave you the proper direction to turn it. LOL

By unscrewing it a little at a time you are giving it just a tiny bit more fuel to help eliminate/lessen the lean pops that you get under decelleration when the throttle is closed.
