Default DRZ Mod

Never heard of it? It's where you sell your old klx and get a big boy bike :-P
Just kidding! I actually really miss the old klx. Especially the 6 speed. But oh well. I miss posting on here and posted when I first got my DRZ so I thought I would give an update. Here it is all done. With dirt wheels and supermoto. Let me know what you think

WOW - That is a really cool DRZ. One of the coolest I have seen actually. I never really cared much for the DRZ because it looks so ugly and boring in its plain old yellow-suzuki garb. However, yours look sweet as hell I must say.

Its too bad you didnt upgrade your KLX to a 351cc. Id like to read some comparisons from people who have written both bikes (and arent super biased towards one or the other)

But yeah, sweet *** DRZ!

Thanks!! I really wanted to but I wasn't making a lot of money at the time and it was my first bike so I screwed a few things up on it and wanted to get rid of it. One of the main things was I broke off one of the swingarm bolts for adjusting the chain! Haha oh well..

This bike definitely is quicker than the klx but with only having 5 speeds you gotta gear the thing up so I high that you loose a lot of power. I bet if geared the same the 351 would be quicker than the drz. But I've never rode a 351. But if you compare apples to apples a big bored drz (434cc, 450cc, 485cc) would probably wreck a 351. If I can find a decent deal on klx I wouldn't mind having another!

Looks awesome man!
I broke a swingarm bolt too...I drilled mine out and cleaned up the threads...had some very tense moments fixing it.

Oh no there is! The hill is steeper than it looks and plenty sandy to burry the tire and let her be

That's funny! I drilled mine out partially and had like 3 bolts that were different lengths cuz I couldn't drill very far into it because of the angle haha
