Default Dirt roads near San Jose, CA?

I've been out hunting for roads in the Santa Cruz Mountains lately while breaking in my new bike. Haven't come up with much. Found Mt. Madonna Rd going from Watsonville Rd (via Redwood Retreat Rd) to Summit Rd at Mt. Madonna Park, but its only dirt for 2.5 miles. Everything else I've found so far has been really short and ends with a private driveway or a gate with trespass warning signs.

Any good roads in my area?

Thanks

i ride on the road cuz i have a street bike. actually now that im thinking about it since you don't like tresspassing signs it narrows it down alot. try mines rd in san jose. mt hamilton up to the lick observatory down the back side turns into mines rd. there alot dirt out that way.

Break out Google maps, start searching your area for trails...they are there, somewhere.

I found a 140 mile loop thru the swamp in S. Florida, that noone seems to know about, if you look you'll find sumthin.
