"The Deej Report"
Well I came home Friday and sat on the couch and was going to fire up the Xbox and play some Battlefield 43 and then I looked outside and the sky was blue and I was like what the freak are you doing, go get the KLX out and just ride. Besides the wife wouldn't be home for a couple more hours, so off I went.
First of all, its been 2 months since I started the bike and 8 since I rode it....I know....I know...
Anyway, I turned on the gas, and it fired right up, and the whole time out (2 hours) it ran absolutely perfect. No sputtering or anything, I went from 300' to 2500 and it just ran perfect.
Stopped at one of my favorite places along the river
Those were at about 600' then it was up to see if the road was still passable with all the storms and mudslides that occur every winter.
Then I came around the corner and saw this, hmmm I must be early on the ride for the year cause I never ran into snow before.
But I thought it was only a small amount and that I would be able to get across the mountain.
Uhhhhhhhh yeaaaah abouuuuuut thaaaaaat
I tried to get through it, but there was no way, and I wore myself out trying to help the bike with my legs, finally it was time to get home. Man I'm outta shape!
Ended the ride at just under 60 miles, but it was good to finally get out somewhere.

Looks like my ride 2 weeks ago, except I *KNEW* I wasn't getting over the mountain! We hit snow at around 6000 feet, but SnoTel is still showing around 10' of it at the top, so we just turned around.
