Kicking it old school. Sorry I missed this thread, I've been extremely busy around the house with painting, new floors in three rooms. I don't really know what the question was, but you got a sweet looking bike there man.

Thanks deej, I did everthing you guys and everyone else on this site said to do since I purchased it Sept 07. I only havre 2,500 miles on it but I have had a great time after taking 35 years off from riding. I took a little while to completely come back to me but as you know the 2 strokes back in the 70's were much lighter but did not handle or have the teck specs they have now in the suspension. I also rode YZ Yamaha in 74 and 75 and that was the end of my career. These new thumpers really surprised me at how quick they can come up on the power band but all the mods to the carb, air intake and exhaust made it a completly different bike. The question began from me relocating from Kentucky to Florida and evidently the setup I have is even better at sea level than it was in Kentucky but there is no way I could have tuned it any better for Kentucky. It was burning perfectly according to my observations of the plug from time to time. Lean and clean in Kentucky and has to be just the same here in Florida. Glad you like the bike, get a lot of funny looks from people when they see me coming down the road and so do the police as they think I do not belong there, looks as if I just come off a track somewhere.
