Default Decompression valve on my 1997 KLX300?

Hi all, my recently acquired KLX300 has a decompression valve. It's obviously not stock as it says it's a "stroker" on the side where it mounts to the cam cover.

Anyone recognize this? Have any info on it?

Thanks for any help,

Interesting, I found this old thread about half way down someone mentions the stroker.

Seems it may have more than just the manual decompression?

If my memory serves me right, Stroker replaced the stock cams with aftermarket ones. That may be the reason Stroker added the manual compression release....no ACR on the aftermarket cam.

Thanks everyone. Now I'm curious to get the valve cover off and see what I have in there.

NICE! I read that article a while back, when I was researching KLX's. Didn't recall the decomp valve or, the fact that it's not a standard feature on the non electric start models. I was planning on going 351 with my bike. I'll have to pull the head and see what it is. I'm really curious now...
