What's the rule of thumb for dampening adjustment? I want to soften the rear compression so I would stiffen the rebound correct? I imagine if you allow the spring to compress more then the rebound will unwind more hence increasing the rebound adjustment...? Also is it one for one or any rule of thumb to get it close?

So, did you read this guy's suspension knowledge that I linked on the first page of this thread? Many of us here have used this guidance to set up our bikes. It may be the most comprehensive "AND" concise "AND" understandable explaination of suspension tuning and setup that I've come across in my life time. Here it is again.
