So I compared the sag on my 3600 mile Kawi to my buddies bran new Kawi with less then 100 miles on it and it's the same. I thought for sure my bike settled out but I guess not.

What's the rule of thumb for dampening adjustment? I want to soften the rear compression so I would stiffen the rebound correct? I imagine if you allow the spring to compress more then the rebound will unwind more hence increasing the rebound adjustment...? Also is it one for one or any rule of thumb to get it close?

So, did you read this guy's suspension knowledge that I linked on the first page of this thread? Many of us here have used this guidance to set up our bikes.
