Default Dan Moore's site may be going down

Hey All,

Some of you know of Dan Moore. He runs another great KLX forum with tons of fantastic information. He recently sold his bike and it looks like he will be decommissioning his forum. This is really too bad, but look at it while you can. He also offers it up for someone else to host. There's some great stuff there. As I type this, I'm unable to connect but was successful just a few minutes ago.

My suggestion is to sift through the more critical threads and posts that you think might be valuable for personal archiving and make a Word document in your computer. Copy and paste those items on to the Word document and title them appropriately in your Documents portion of your computer. Don't just save a link, as it won't be there when the site goes down. For example, one of those I saved was the one where you can exchange the countershaft collar from a 300 to the 250 series so that you can use the more varied 300 front sprockets. All the part numbers and such are in that post and might be helpful in the future. There are several other excellent posts ranging from complete cylinder head rebuilds and aftermarket valves, cams, etc. Dan was one serious dude on doing the mods personally and then chronicling them on his site. I hate to see it go, so save any threads that you think might be valuable to you in the form of a document.

The site seems to be already down. That's too bad, he was a great member here back in the day and I thought he did a great job with a website just dedicated to the KLX.

It seems to be on and off. I was just using it about an hour ago.

Actually not down but kind of having issues. I just went there and read all of my posts from the past 4 years or so, I had 103 posts....LOL If I could add them to this site then it would push me over the 20,000 mark. hahahahaha

I'm attempting to download the entire site, I don't know if it will work I've never done this before and I don't know what I'll do with it once it's done and I won't be hosting it. If someone else can we can try to work something out.

Can you copy some of the threads into new ones on here. Copy and paste, then post? I know that's huge but............?

It's a good site and I have gone there many times. But it's not as active as this one. I think just being able to archive some of the content here would be cool. Hopefully he can assist in doing so if he's cool with that.
