Default Damn - More Rattlesnakes!

Don't usually see any this time of the year in the Sonoran desert and ran across three of them on my ride today. The mighty Dunlop D606 did one in, a wicked 4 foot Mojave! He gave me and the KLX a run for our money too - biting and striking both the bike and my AlpineStar boots a number of times. I came close to loosing my balance and falling on it twice. I did save the tail since Deej has been asking for one and KC did get the last two to make earrings from - whatever floats your boat I guess!

You crazy bastard! How many times have I told you not to go riding by yourself, especially out there-you're in the middle of NOWHERE! Okay, I got that out of my system! How did you remove the rattle this time? And I do like my earrings, they rattle when I shake my head which is what I'm doing right now!!!

Finger, Oh I'm sure the coyotes will like the treat I left behind for 'em! Besides KC, I been bored all week - needed to get out and cause some trouble. Best head removal method is place the neck of the snake inbetween the chain and the rear sprocket and gun it!

Is that a sly way of asking Kathy for a picture of her wearing them?

Gotta adment, at least you are inventive about how to decapiate a snake. If it was me, I would at least try to miss. And if I couldn't, take a rock and bash its head in. Then take my handle Gerber multi-tool and skin it.

The tail will make a nice gift. Use it to scare a few folks.

Hey Mark, what happened to the end? Was there another section or is that the way they are? Either way I would love to have one, but if there might be a better specimen somewhere down the road, I'll wait.
