Default CRF250 wheel deal?

Greetings,
I recently got my first ever dirtbike/sm in the klx250sm and am having much fun despite having several much faster bikes over the years. There is a guy locally selling crf250 custom wheels and I want to know if anybody knows for sure if they will fit my bike? I could remove my wheels and take some measurements then go measure his but was hoping for an easier solution to my question. My goal is to be able to have one bike and swap wheels to fit the mission. Common idea I am sure. An extra set of wheels should be cheaper than a second bike. That would be fourth in my case. N+1 and stuff.

Thx, Dave

99-44/100% chance they will not fit.

You need to find KLX hubs to suit your year to have the correct fit.

The pre-08 hubs will interchange with the KLX300 models. All have the same rear hubs, but the 09 and up have the larger rear rotor. The 09 up front hubs have different speedo drive machining.

If you are looking at lacing up 17s you are better off buying a set off ebay or here. Rims run around $150-200 each, spoke sets are $90 each set. So you see in rims and spokes You can have up to $600 without hubs, assembly or tires.

It may seem expensive, but the best way to do it - buy a full used set, hopefully with tires.
