Thanks for posting those pics Mav. I was anxious to see how it mounted. That's a quality skidplate!

No problems Mike, the top mount CRD supplied a longer bolt but I didn't like the look of it so I used the original bolt and so far so good. Thats why its a bit short, I like the plate it has a few scratches and dings but its saving the bike from those impacts.

Is that by chance the skidplate CRD offers for the 93 - 97 KLX 250-R?.., if so, part number CPM-2314 on CRD's site, listed at 129.99?.

I'm very interested in a skidplate of that type.

I'm also curious about the frame guards they show as well, though I've not yet seen a picture of anyone actually using them.

I wonder if you can actually change your oil without making a big mess of that plate? It's an awfully small drain hole. You gotta have small fingers huh?

Not sure ReaperFox sorry I got it off ebay. Kawi Wawi I have let the dealer do the oil changes so far, until the warranty runs out in Jan 2007

I did an oil change the other day and minimal dripage on the plate, if your careful you could do it with no oil on the plate. Its not difficult.
