Oh man, that's a tough one! TheBigGun is in a class byits self, so I don't think you can find any jetkits thatare worthy.

ORIGINAL: surfwitben

Ok. Why have I read all of the forum and I still can't figure out which jet kit, needle, and spring I need for the Big Gun Evo X on my 2006 KLX250S? Can anyone let me know exactly what I should buy? Thanks.

The PN for theKDX200/220 rotor, which fits our hub perfectly is Kawasaki PN 41080-1377.

It's made of cast iron andimproves stopping power noticably when combined with a KX250 (2-cycle version) master cylinder, KawasakiPN43015-0041.It is used on the 05, 06 and 07 KX250.

You will need a single-deep, banjo bolt pressure switch to keep your stop light. 10mm dia X 1.25 thread pitch will do the trick.

The KLX300, 250S and KDX200/220 share the same caliper, so no need to touch that.

Thepads that compliment that rotor are Kawasaki PN 43082-0026. They are used on the KDX200/220 and KLX300.

One further note. This master cylinder's moto-cross origin means no mirror mount. The cleanest way to get around this is one those half clamps with a built-in mirror socket, which will just take the place of the clamp piece that comes with the master cylinder. Kawasaki PN 43034-1144 for 2000-2003 Super Sherpa works great for that.

You have to be aware of the different sizes of jets from different manufacturers. A 125 jet from Keihan is not the same as a 125 jet from dynojet.

You keep saying you have a 125 main. Dynojet doesn't have a 125 main. So that makes me think you have a keihan jet. Which is actually equivalent to a 118 dyno jet main. Which would be too small easily explaining the problems you are having. Your bike should run great on a 124 or 128 dyno jet.

For example, Kawasaki has a hop up performance article from the factory for our bikes. It says a 140 jet with no lid is the best at sea level. But they use a keihan jet. So that actually comes back to a 130 dyno jet.

Here is a conversion chart

Rocky MOuntain ATV no longer carries the Sunstar 34213 13 tooth front sprocket. Looks like the going price is probably around 30 bucks elsewhere, I'm still shopping around.

Powersportparts.net seems to have some of the best prices and free shipping over 100 dollars.

Default EBC Clutch Plates , Barnett Springs

EBC:
Plates only
CK4469
EBC Replacement Clutch Plate Set
A direct replacement for the OEM unit made with an impregnated "cork" based lining that emulates the stock unit, but enhances clutch feel and lifetime.
Price: $68.00

Dirt Racer rebuild
DRC212
EBC Dirt Racer Clutch Rebuild Kit
The perfect clutch rebuild for every ATV and MX bike, featuring a complete engine set of friction plates with upgrade clutch springs and pin planished steel separator plates. These wear longer than the stock alloy units, prevent "muddying" of the lube system and increase engine flywheel effect, actually improving engine performance due to the slightly heavier component mass of the steel plate set. Being a complete rebuild kit, the DRC set completely re-sets the all important stack height to its original dimensions whereas simply replacing plates can lead to the same slippage problems.
Price: $73.00

Barnett:
Year 2006-12
Model KLX250S
Friction Plates (Qty.) 301-45-10003(7)
Tempered Steel Metal Plates (Qty.) 401-45-063008(6)
Spring Kits 501-25-06043

Part number 54011-0009 is for a KLX300R clutch cable 2" longer than stock KLX250S cable.
