Default Clutch Slipping?

My clutch seems to be slipping after doing all my mods. I have always used the Kawi 10w40 oil. I just put on a 13t sporcket, Two brothers, and rejeted.

Any suggestions? Can you adjust it?

Are you putting car oil in the bike? It's not just about the weight (10w40.)
You can adjust it but none of the mods you've performed will have altered its performance. The adjustment is just for the cable (for when the lever actuates the clutch engagement.) You may have fried your plates (cheap easy fix.) If the cable has some slack and it's still slipping then you'll have to look inside.

Seeing the you are using Kawasaki 10w-40 oil, that rules that out.

Chances are the plates are done. The clutch pack is easy to get at and should only take an hour or two to do the job.

One thing to check is the clutch lever. Makes sure there is about .25~.5 inch of play with it released.

Ok, I will check to make sure it has play.

It has 5k miles on it. Do clutch plates go out that often? Its been mostly ridden on rode.

I would agree--check the cable free play & routing. Dont add any additives that are "super slippery" to boost the life of car engines to your 10-40 Kawasai oil.

The clutch plates wouldn't have gone out that soon unless you were seriously roasting on that lever. I've abused mine through learning to ride, getting stuck in sand.... and mud... and I've yet to notice any decrease in performance. Check the cables? They may need lubing. If the cable is hanging it could cause slippage by engaging it even though the lever is free.
