Default Clutch issue? Could use some advice please!

Ive browsed the forums but I finally had an issue.

I just fixed a flat front tire on my klx 250s when i realized my clutch play was all messed up. I fixed that but now whenever I hold the clutch in it seems like the gears don't disengage all the way. When I push the bike it is much harder to do so in gear with the clutch in than when I am in neutral. I feel like this isn't good but perhaps I just never noticed? I could use some advice!

It sounds like the clutch isn't traveling as far as it should be. Visually watch the arm above the clutch cover to verify that it's fully dis-engaging when you pull the lever.

I got some vice grips and pulled the clutch farther over but that doesn't seem to help. Like I said I can push it with the clutch in but there is noticeable resistance all through the spin if its not in neutral.

re-adjust your clutch cable.....properly.
