Does anybody know if the 06-07 rear fender rack will fit on 09'? Anybody know of a rack that would work?

 

There's a guy on ebay selling racks that he made custom to fit the KLR 250. I've talked with him on the phone and they will work for the 09' model. You'd just have to drill the proper holes. $75 and looks to be quality. Just do a search for KLR250 Rack on ebay and you'll find it.

I agree. But at least it has extra bars to strap your bag gear to.

My 7 year old was standing behind me when I saw that pick. His exact words: "Eww...that looks weird."

(he rides a 2000 Honda XR80R...ew, THAT looks weird)

 

I don't really understand why these racks keep getting the ugly comments. They look well made to me and fit & function seem be there. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder I guess.

 

I put htis one on my bike, got it at the local shop for $120, then I started finding them on auction for less than that....of course...

I just took my gay lil wallet bag off my 09 and found that I can simply mount a nice fishing tackle bag. With just a peice of ply wood and sealer Ill post up some pics when im finished
