Yes there definitely should be an O-ring.
There should be an O-ring, washer and spring. Checkinside the hole with a magnifying glass..the O-ring is tiny.It should be at the bottom of the hole or maybe it got hung up on the threads on the way out. Don't put the Kouba in until you find that little bugger or you might just squish it into the threads...don't ask me how I know that!
If it's not in there,maybe someone goofed during assembly. TheO-ring only comes as part of aset (screw, spring, washer,O-ring) from Kawi.
