It's been awhile, but didn't Bill have at least 2 or 3 dyno runs over time with KLX's having various mods...one of them being some headwork? I can't recall for sure.

Yes, there were several dyno curves, but I don't recall one with headwork. I should have copied them when they were up on his old site.

I don't think I saw them on his site. I think it was on ADV under Bake's posts or maybe from Bill under "Thumpers".

I'm curious on how many miles are on the bike and how many valve adjustments have you made on the bike?

You are the first member I have seen that has run into this.

Dan Moore had to do a valve job on his bike too. That said, it takes a lot of miles or severe lack of service in most cases.

I believe some of the issues im having now is result of the previous repairs when it was new, dont make me recall the nightmare. Right now there is around 12K miles on it. The new head was installed around 6K. The past few years ive had to adjust the valves 2 times a year.

I was especially curious about any valve seat repair or replacement. Just wondering about the longevity of the valve seats in our KLX. I noticed there are quality aftermarket replacement seats available for our bike, and this is very common in many racing models like a Honda CRFR and such. When Dan Moore did his he just relapped the seats with new aftermarket valves. I was curious how much worked was needed on yours.
