So Deej,

There is a really nice ride to maple bay from Duncan and a good pub at the end of it if you have an extra couple of hours on your trip. It is a road ride. You can actually go all the way to Ladysmith on that road which goes along the water and it is very nice. About an hour each way back to Duncan.

i cant get the link to work right now, but this is going to be my trip next summer. im turning 21 and didnt want the normal "drink till i pass out" or stripper party. anywhere else i should stop, im planing 2 weeks, maybe more, ghetto tenting it. adding to the length of the trip, i was planing it with a 50cc scooter till i bought the klx. i bet bc is a really nice place to ride slow anyways.

For some reason it just hit me, and now I'm all nervous about the trip. I need to ride to Port Angeles today or tomorrow early for a doc appt at 11:00 (60 miles) and it looks like its gonna start pouring down rain, roads are still dry so I'm half tempted to just go right now. The wife and kid headed in for dentist appts and then staying with her mom.......I feel lost somehow. I guess its just weird that I'm actually doing this. Oh well I guess the first time there is always more unknown than usual. I will see you guys in a week or so. Ride report will take some time to put up, and actually I might host it on the ADV site and just link it here. They don't have a limit with 20 pics per post. We'll see. Talk to you guys later..........

Wink

Have a great trip...I am sure you have raingear...and are aware that it almost always rains on the west coast.
