Can someone explain the needle jet?

Ok. Will do. It came with a 127.5 main and that hardly ran at all. I'll try something around 130 just for kicks for a main and see what it does. Thanks. I hope this gets me on the right track.

Thats what I'd do too. Work on the main, generally when you get it right it helps stop some of the confusion when testing the bike to eliminate confusion with mid range problems. Mine came with a 140 and a P8 needle jet that I was told was opened up to flow better? It ran like crap.

I started dropping the main one jet size at a time, each drop in jet size it ran better on the top end. Then I started on the needle jet.

Hey Slippery, with 130 and P-6, what are you doing with airbox at the moment?
Lid on but no snorkel?

Yesterday I put in the smallest main jet I have, a 137.5. That thing runs tons better now. I have 135 and 132.5 coming in the mail. Thanks for getting me on the right track! I ow you guys some beer!
