Default can it be done?

Hey everybody im new to this forum and loving every post about it. i have a klx250.
i was wondering if anyone has herrd of putting a 250 ninja motor in a klx?

The 250 ninja swap wouldn't be worth it. The power gain vs. the extra weight I don't think would be more than a big bore 331. It would probably be alot easier to mount a two smoke in the frame than the 250 ninja motor.

My first question would be "why" ? If it's something that you just want to do...then give it a shot! I've been known to do such things just for the hell of it. Otherwise...I agree with Iowaguy and 2k1w=no$ ...why not just go get a used KX or beef up the KLX.

Expect a new exhaust and rejet kit to be headed your way.

Following by a front sprocket

Pumper carb

big bore kit

I don't believe that I have heard of anyone putting that motor (or any other replacement) in a KLX250S. The bike can't be more than 2 years old so WHY would be the question. If you do it let us all know how it turns out.

Yeah why on earth would you want to, be a lot easier and more practical to use a single.
