Default Camshaft torque specs

I am about to go ahead and MCM my 2018 KLX 250. So before I start I was wondering if anyone one could kindly provide me the torque specs for the " cam housing" bolts as well as the cam sprockets bolts. Thanks

You want both the spec and the tightening sequence as well. Look around with a couple searches, you will find the KLX250 factory service manual. About any of them will do for that torque spec if you can't find one for the 2018. They are basically the same engine over all the years from 1994 to date.

The sequence is stamped on the bracket, I found 87 inch pounds. I may just remove the spring rather than the whole ACR.

I would say that the intake cam is one tooth higher than it should be.
Or does it seem assymetric only to me?
Let’s wait for other responses.

This is how my cams look like:

^^^^^
That, intake one tooth too far counterclockwise. Should mirror exhaust.

Check cam alignment one final time after installing the cam chain tensioner, caps, etc.

Also see post 72 in my 351 thread linked below for my pic of cam positions.

I started it up and let it run for a few minutes. I just removed the spring on the ARC. There was no issues staring. This weekend I am going to pull the valve cover off and recheck everything. Better to be certain that to assume everything is fine. I will post a pic before I through it all back together and see what everyone thinks. Thanks to all.
