Hello again,

I think my 2009 is the CA model, it has the black canister on the left hand side right below the radiator. I've already ripped off the smog crap and am wondering what exactly that little can does for Californians. Would it do anything to take it off? Worth the time?

I don't have an answer for you, but where did you buy it from? Was it a local dealer?

 

THe only thing it does is absorb the vent fumes from the gas tank. It does nothing to hinder or help performance. Where in Utah are you? I am thinking about moving out there in the next couple of months.

 

I bought it from plaza cycle in slc.

I'm in Salt Lake. Lots of good places to go ride out here.

 

The smog junk helps turn your pipe blue. I took all that smog junk off and plugged the holes on the head and air box.
