Every time i throw a leg over any bike i know it could be the last time. Im the first in my family to own a street legal bike since both my parents rode before i was born. One of my parents best friend died on a bike, someone just pulled out right in front of him. I dont live in fear of what might happen. What i get out of riding is worth the risk. Riding isnt for everyone. It is 100% for me. To each their own. I will always ride. Always.

There is danger involved both on and off road, the group of guys I raced with 30+ years ago is missing a couple of people and one guy lost an arm. We all have injuries we deal with to this day, some worse than others. I have never thought about quitting though but it has changed how I go about things to this day. Good luck with the new bike and I sure at sometime you'll be on the street again, stay safe...

Its part of the game. So Far I hit a goat, car head on, and a cow. I hit the cow while I was going 70 MPH cow died, I jumped over cow and bike and landed with a few scratches.. bike almost didnt live.

I have to drive slower.
