picked uo my bike friday night. i took it out the next moning thinking i'd break it in putting down the street that lasted about 10 miles took a right into the woods and never looked back. 1st time on dirt in about 25 years i had a blast. i forgot how much i missed it now to start buying stuff. i was looking on ebay and found emgo hand gaurds i think i'll start there. also are there any kind of small mirror for getting to the trail. took the stock ones off. after i kinda break it in i'll get a pipe. also what size rear sprocket is best for the dirt

Stick with the 42 rear at the moment. Add a 13 tooth front. Cheapest option to lower the gearing. (Stock chain length will work.) If you then want more you can start you collection of rear sprockets to go with the 13. I use the OE 14/42 for the weekly commute and switch to 13/45 when she gets dirty.(I have 2 chains.) Hand guards and a bash plate are a good investment. The power of hindsight! Check the search function for more info'. Oh, and welcome.

Or you can just get a 12 tooth front sprocket.

I didn't know you could buy a 12 tooth. I'm still learning. I buy most of the stuff on closeout. Got the 13/45 Renthal JT combo with a Renthal R3 o'ring for a steal.

PowerMadd makes an integrated mirror that fits into their hand guard. I'm thinking about using them myself and dumping the stock mirrors heres where to get them--http://www.magicracing.com

Where can I find rear sprockets for the '09? Will rear sprockets from an '06/'07 fit?
