brake and clutch levers.
Hey Ya'll,
I finally got to take the bike out and try her out. http://matson.home.insightbb.com/march11/
Take a look at some of the pictures.
In doing so. I snapped my clutch lever and bent my brake lever. (In the process of getting some guards) My question is: where is the best/cheapest place to get replacements?
Thanks,
Jethro

Jethro, at this point I think you are going to have to go with OEM levers unless you want to replace the whole perch on the clutch. I wouldn't necessarily get the parts from your dealer, though, as their are better/cheaper options online. The part numbers for the levers are:
Clutch lever: 46092-1159
Brake lever: 46092-1175
For future reference, you can find part numbers for OEM parts at this link.
As far as online locations, I would recommend either www.ronayers.com or www.mrcycles.com.
Lastly, it's a little late now, but I would recommend that you get a set of bark busters pretty soon. They pay for themselves very quickly just in the cost avoidance of new levers, not to mention hand injuries.
Good luck and ride safe.

Well,
I have read a lot of posts about people falling over and dropping the bike!!!
So I decided, "What the HELL, I'll give it a try!" And you know what,
I dropped the bike about 7 times that day. And not once was I in motion when I
did it. Towards the end, I just said tahell with trying to keepon my feet so I just fell
with it!!!!

I got my front brake lever from bike bandit, it wasn't that much money. Get the cycra hand guards with triple clamp mounts, they are expensive but sweet! Here's a pic.

Jethro,
Awesome pics man, thanks for sharing... Nice trail riding reminds me ALOT of the Pocono MTS in Penn. ie. LOT-O-ROCKS!!!!
Hope you all have your Carb Breather T-mods done, looks like you spend a lot of time in the water...
Sorry to hear about your brake and clutch levers, I agree with Chris, bark busters will pay for themselves in saving both your hands and the levers!!!
Thanks for sharing what appeared to be an awesome ride!!

Jethro, you might want to check into the msr shorty clutch like Josh installed https://www.kawasakiforums.com/m_119410/tm.htm
hey dmar....those are nice gaurds....could you please post a link to where you got them or anymore info?
I got them on the cycra website. I called them to ask a couple of mounting questions and just ordered them while I was on the phone with guy. I also got two sets of guards for them, the one is the guard shown and a smaller set. You will also need longer bolts, I got stainless ones at the local hardware store.

I'm looking for a clutch lever, I broke mine too and I have handguards.......my clutch was just too far down. I kinda like it though, it's like a shorty......but....different.
