Default Brake caliper question '07 KLX300R/KLX250s

Sorry for all the threads I've been making lately, but...

Do the '07 KLX300R's have the same front brake caliper as the '07 KLX250S? I want to order the EBC front rotor kit off of motostrano.com. I've seen someone's bike on here that has the EBC kit and I'm assuming they purchased the KLX300R kit. The calipers look the same to me but I want to make sure before I make a $200+ purchase.

BP88, the calipers are the same but the screws to mount the rotor are not. The 300 uses 6x14 mm screws. The 250 uses 8x15 mm screws. As far as I know, the hole pattern and spacing are the same, just not the size of the screw holes. I think others have just drilled out the holes to fit the screws.

Yeah, dude, I ordered the EBC kit from mawonline.com a while back but, for an '09. I think I scoured this forum for like a week before ordering to make sure I got the right stuff. You going full motard? I saw your other thread on axle sliders.

That reminds me, you see Tropic Thunder? "You went full retard, man- Never go full retard!"

Yeah, I figured if I'm already this far into the $ pit I may as well pull the trigger all the way.

I haven't seen that movie but I heard it was pretty funny.

Right on, bro. I'm planning to go the same route when I get home so, post up if you have any issues.

Will do!

Oh, and does anyone know of any companies that make larger front and smaller rear sprockets for our bikes? I need to regear my bike for top end.

Ok, that last link takes you to the page at that site that's good for rear sprockets (KLX300 rear sprockets work). Also, at that site, you can find Honda XR650L front sprockets (15 tooth) that are also said to work. Elsewhere on this forum, I've read KLX650C-1 front sprockets will work and may fit better than the XR's. Link to that thread: https://www.kawasakiforums.com/forum...front+sprocket
