brake adjustment
is it just my bike or do the front brakes rub lightly on the disc, is there anyway to adjust the gap between the disk and the pads.
i have a 99' klx 250h |
front brakes rubbing lightly on the disc is normal; your car/truck does it also.

The stock brake "hose" has that hard pipe under the fork, keeping it from being a truly "floating" caliper. After I replaced mine with a stainless brake hose without the "pipe" it does not rub anymore.

cool!

like wedge said it's normal, all disk brakes do it
|
thought it was normal, the rear brake dosn't rub, but there you go, ddt1972 mentioned that he replaced the hose with a steel line, considering the cost of the new line whats the pros and cons with them or is it just a looks thing?
|
I think its really just all pro......... less brake fade and a firmer consistant feel when you sqeeze 'em
and on the front you get rid of that little line that can get hooked and broken on crap. |
any suggestions where to get the steel brake line from,
