I know what you mean! Sprotbikes are just too committed to really enjoy. I am not saying they are not fun because the adrenaline rush you get form twisting the throttle on a rocket is unmatched. But, when it comes to carefree riding, taking in all the scenery, and not worrying about getting put in jail you can't beat a nice dual sport.

 

You know there arent any tracks closeby, so I dont have the oppurtunity...nor do I ahve the time or money to make the oppurtunity....

Despite not being near a track, I have the rear tire scuffed to the edge on both sides

 

Oh and it rode fine. Felt like superman. "**** I'm going to fast for the turn#$@#$! AHH..what do I do? brakes might make me crash..**** it..lean more.....!!!!" and it just took it..lol

 

hahaha, isn't it great! Ya have to love the pucker factor. Then common sense kicks in! hahaha
But as mentioned above, if you could hit the track, you will be addicted. So to keep from being broke, sell the sport ride!

Nope...I have my KLX250S...thats the bike for me that I enjoy the most between the two...honestly...(and the wife wants furniture..lol)

No I ave my 11 second mustang for gonig fast on the street....10s arent far off on the horizen..so it not like its that much slower...

 

hmm, I prolly would have kept the ride myself and sold the mustang. You would have gotten more furniture for the sale.
