Default Bored with forum

I recently sold my '08 KLR650 and purchased a '09 KLX250S. I really like the KLX and have it farkled out the way I want it, but I've got to say I'm bored with this forum. No one after another Doohicky threads. No oil burning threads. No electrical problem thread. No engine guard vibration problems. Try as I might, I haven't been able to find any repeated KLX problems being discussed on this forum. I just can't find anything to get worked up or excited about.

I also see that I haven't figured out how to upload a picture to this forum either. Put the image on Photobucket, then tried to attach the IMG URL, but no joy.

Go to the HOTD thread, start from page one, and work your way through.
Then tell me you didn't get worked up or excited.

I guess the humble KLX is too sweet a bike.

Cousinlarry is in trouble, maybe you could help him out.

Okay, my bad. I didn't go to the new member area and introduce myself or read how to do things like post pictures. So, I'll check in over there and get back here after I learn a few things.

Whidbey Island....Howdy neighbor! Try this.

In photobucket, there are 4 link choices.

Email & IM
Direct Link
HTML Code
IMG Code

Click on the Direct link, ...then copy and come back to the forums, and hit the button, and backspace the http:// out and then paste in that link you copied and hit enter. It should put it right into the thread. Try that and let me know what is happening.

Oh by the way....welcome to the forums in case we didn't say so. I can't find a post from you in the new members area. What's it like on the Island. I went there once. A friend of mine is an electrician there.

Thanks deej, I'll try that method of picture posting. No, still haven't been to the new member thread, but I'll do so soon.

What's it like here on the Island. It's cooler when Seattle is hot, warmer when Seattle is cold. This is often the only place in the Sound not getting rain, or sometimes is the only place getting rain. It's pretty quiet except for the occasional Navy jet. My son and I never get tired of riding the back roads down Island for lunch and back. Lots of nice two lane with very little traffic. It would be nice if we could find a little dirt to ride on though.
