Default Blue-ing Header Pipe

Alright folks, I need some diagnostic help.

I have noticed that my Muzzy header has started to blue a little bit in kind of an irregular pattern. The discoloration is mostly between the exhaust port and the heat shield, but a little bit extends under the heat shield.

I don't care about the aesthetics of it, but want to make sure that I respond to whatever condition might be causing the blue-ing. I know that pics will help, and I will get some up tonight, but as a first pass would it be a safe assumption that I am running to lean and therefore my exhaust gases are too hot? I am combining bits and pieces of info that I have gleaned from other threads, so I might be way off on this assumption.

Note my setup in my signature below.

Any thoughts?

I don't see where you have opened up the pilot screw to 2 to 2 1/8 turns yet. Has that been done?
