OK, quick update.
Spring hit with a vengeance. Flooded my basement workshop for a week. Car crapped the bed. Concours had it's cam chain tensioner fail a block from work (boy is that a frightening sound! (One minute nice and quiet, the next like someone put your engine through one of those scrap machines that eats anything). KLX678 bailed me out with one of his MCCT's and the Concours was fine(phew). Then work got busy (only place I have internet) because we are in the bicycle industry and it's that time of year, hence not much surfing time to update and upload photos etc. And now I've spent my Bill Blue money again on my teeth (love the dentist, NOT).
So the bike is slowly coming along. Frame is painted and getting stuff added back to it. Hopefully be a roller this weekend. Then it's just the motor.
I've been considering the cheap Chinese 300 kit to get rolling but I'm going to be patient and get the 351.
I'll try and transfer some photos this weekend and upload them.
In the meantime I've been riding the KTM 200 in the woods to keep the soul happy.

Just a suggestion, using a large hose clamp worked as a ring compressor when I did the bill blue big bore
