Default Black Wheels

I found some pictures of the 250 with black wheels, it’s a motard conversion but I still like the look of the black wheels. Does anyone else have pictures of our bike with black wheels on it? I might make a winter project of painting the factory wheels black.

Here are the pictures (not my bike)

That's MaverickAus's bike - pretty sharp, IMO.

I am pretty sure that MavAus has the CRD bash plate. I don't know about his handguards.

I am sure he will be along shortly to fill in the gaps.

you can get a Excel black rim pretty cheap and get someone to lace it up with your stock hub/spokes. i see them advertised for like $115 each for the klx300 which i think are the same

he has 2 sets of wheels, those black ones, and the stock wheels with knobbies , so he can switch depending on what kinda riding he wants to do. hence the skid plate still...

All correct guys, your lordship the handguards are BarkBuster Ego's they are made in Australia and I don't know if they are available in the US, I imagine someone may stock them. They have also dropped heaps in price since I bought mine (naturally). They do not fit well with the stock handlebars, I'm sure they will fit better with the Renthal bars I will fit soon. I'd say they would also fit ok with the optional triple clamp fittings. markturbo the rims are off a D-Tracker which is a Kawasaki supermoto version of the KLX. If you want any other info just ask, or do a search I have covered the subject in various posts. .... hmmm maybe I should combine it all into one post in the sticky on mods. I'll try to do that on the weekend

Cheers
