Hey guys! So I just got me a 2009 KLX250SF for my first bike so far I love it! I am thinking about getting the Big Gun Evo R Series Slip-On Exhaust... does anyone on here have it? any advice? Thanks for your time!

 

If you want loud, go for it, I like the FMF Powerbomb & Powercore sound better. Oh, and I think you'll find it's a little cheaper too.

 

Ii want it louder than stock but I dont want to wake the dead! Also Im looking for what going to give me the best performance!

 

True story. But I don't think we have very many side-by-side comparisons of performance by pipe.

 

It wakes the dead....for sure. Get the full system though if you get it. You wont regret it. I have it on my sf, and it's awesome.

 

Did you notice a REAL change in power or is it all sound? Today i just took snorkle and man that made a big sound change!

 

I did a power core pipe, megabomb header, airbox lid off, and rejet, and its a new bike.
Not amazing OMG power, but certainly much better, bike is a BLAST now.
Sounds awesome, but can drone some if you are holding 50+ mph

Whats your mpg? Just curious

 

I have the same set up on my 90 S. I get between 52mpg and 55mpg depending on how hard I ride the bike.

 

I even have the 3.7 gal. Acerbis tank on mine and a couple other things adding weight, I ride it hard, and still get right around 60 mpg.
