Default Big Bore kit and insurance

Playing around with insurance I noticed that once you go over 249cc motorcycle insurance goes up A LOT. I guess that's the price you pay for the extra HP.

If they find out about it. Your bike probably still says 250.

LOL They won't know if you don't tell them.

Don't worry, if you fail to notify the Insurance Co. that you added 152cc's to the engine, you won't be screwing the Ins co. half as hard as they're already screwing you.

They wont increase the payoff value of the bike if you put in a bigbore so why tell them.

I'm kind of dorky when it comes to that type of thing. I worry that if there was a big claim (personal injury) then insurance could be denied based on falsifying information.

What are they going to do, tear the engine down and measure the displacement? I don't think so!

If you persist and tell them it's a KLX351S, they'll look on their computer and tell you there is no such model.

Grrrrrrrrr
