Default Been gone a long while

I use to be here often life gets in the way, pulling the old bike out and purchased a second motor.
My original was very heavily modified and she gave up the ghost on the dyno with some spray. Oh well...

well anyway had a 340 kit looking for a 350 or 340 kit to slap on this stock motor. When I tear down the old motor I’ll see if the heads and after market cams are still ok. Had a ton of time in the head also.

Any sources for the kits still??

Welcome back.
Bill Blue is still doing big bores.
Cycle Pro was doing 331s, but just sold their last two here.

Thanks had a time and money wrapped up in this and figured might as well get her running again.

Thanks also for for the heads up on the kits. I believe mine was his 340 but can’t remember I’m getting old. Lol

If you want to budget build, there is the sub-$200 299cc AHL kit. Chinese bolt on, likely from the company that makes engines for the Chinese four wheelers and motorcycles. The kit is through Amazon, a number of riders picked one up. I haven't installed the one I got yet.

Think I’ll just do the 351 kit. My other motor is A 374 as had new crank and bunch of their stuff. Time and many other projects have made me forget most of the particulars.

Like i said I don’t think I’ve touched this thing since like 2010. Ugh man I’m getting up there in age. Lol

Kustom Kraft also makes a 330 kit. Its pricey, but quality looks top notch.

Got a stock motor in again Went back to the stock carb had a DynoJet jet kit in it. I also have a pipe and muffler on it and no air box just a KN.
Idles almost there but high or to low. I have to figure it out not a big deal. I’ve had a 36 or 38 pumper carb on it can’t remember also have a Japanese cdi it.

I’ll Have bit of fun till the strokers done. Like I said haven’t heard it run since 2010 kinda new again. Just venting I guess. Lol
