Battery Question
Been a while...
My '09 is dead.
Been dead about 3 months.
Before that, I had not ridden it for about 3 months.
Same gas, too.
Can I charge it and expect it to work? Or should I just get a new battery?
Also, the fuel went untreated. Drain and start over, or treat w/ Stabil, or octane bost, or just burn it out?
Thanks, y'all!

Worth giving it a go. Battery that is.
Nothing to lose.
The Battery on my Ducati gets replaced every 2 years due mainly to lack of regular use.
The Duke takes a lot of energy to crank it over and if the battery has deteriated at all, it won't start and charging it doesn't help much.
But the Battery in the KLX is the original one.
That will be nearly 4 years now.
And it doesn't get much use over the summer. Too hot.
Same for the fuel. Try it. Maybe drain the carb bowl.

I assume you mean to attempt to charge?
I'll hook up my solar charger to it tomorrow. I'll try again on Sunday; we'll see.
