I have the a-chair-bees and have been beating on them for a few months. I would agree that they are not the strongest material, my left one is bent a bit. However, they have protected my bars and controls from several hits, so they work well for me. Plus, I think they are the best looking guard on the market...I got mine in white.

 

As long as you're shopping at RMATV, did you consider the Tusk Handguards? I've only been down once (knock on wood) with mine and they didn't bend. At $54.99 they're a good deal, and if you bend or break one you can buy a replacement bar without buying the whole kit. Sorry, I don't have a discount code for you...

I like the Barkbusters. I had the Acerbis-is-is-is on my ATV, they bent a bit.
Plus I think twisted throttle is right here

And that there was a good enough reason for me to go there and get them. Real people, real riders, and a bunch of hot-****'s !!

 

I used the Tusk's until I went with Pro Taper EVO's and switch to something that fit the Bigger bars better, the tusk's lasted through 3 other sets of bars and one set even snapped right at the triple clamp.

 

Well I went with the barkbusters. Their website does not want to aknowlage my shipping destination so I had to email them. They emailed right back with a quote including shipping and this morning I called the order in.

Got a set of SIDI boots off ebay

Called RMATV and got that order shipped out to include
Elbow & Knee/shin guards, Pants, Jersy, Gloves, Bike stand, Could not get the water wetter shipped out due to restrictions so thats still on the list of to do's

I have the rack and skidplate on the way also.

I think i am running out of extra funds so the following are still on hte list

1 Better helmet (Got a cheepo now)
2. Kickstart (would have bought but could not get in touch with them)
3. Sprockets. I found the JT Sprockets part #s I am looking for but have not found all the sprockets for sale yet. Looking at a 13T, a 15T and a 43T One site has the last two but not the first one and I did not call them early enough this morning before they closed.

Basicly its JT(for JT Sprockets) then F for front(JTF) or R for rear (JTR) or A for Aluminium Alloy(JTA) then the the model of sprocket 516 is our front spline with sholder. 460 is the model that will mount up to our hubs. Then a "." and the # of teeth.


Front Sprocket 13Tooth: JTF 516.13

Rear Sprocket 42tooth: JTR 460.42

Alloy Rear Sprocket 42 tooth: JTA 460.42

Recommended Chain: : 520 / 106 (for stock) you may need 108 or even 110

I have the Rally Pros and they have held up to some major beatings over the last 3 years. Next set of guards I get will have the ends that curve down so your hands exit directly off the sides of the bars if need be.
