JEEZ! I know that turn... So very sorry to hear aboutyour friends accident. Hard to figure how someone couldn't see two bikes with turn signals blinking. Bottom line, no matter what the truck driver says, he's definitly responsible and should be accountable. Hope that your friends have the guts to make him remember that those people on those two wheels are really people.
Thanks also for tweaking our memories that those other folks on the road with us may not be as alert,or as caring, as we'd like to think!
Wishing your bud a Speedy and CompleteRecovery!

Hey havent been on in a couple days read this made my heart just sink. Hope all gos well for recovery. They were along way from any real help. Been on that part of 230 myself. Have a hard time beleiving that he didnt see turn signals. Correct me if im wrong but that looks like mt'thielson in the back ground that puts you about 5 miles from 138 he(the f250) is coming up on a stop sign whyis he doing 70. That is a north/south road sounless it was highnoon the sun should have been on the right or the left what im saying is the signals should have been visible.

It really sounds like this guy is fortunate to be alive. Don't get me wrong, that is a terrible thing to happen, but I'm sure he is counting his blessings.
I am always SO aware of what is going on around me when I'm riding, but man, who would have seen that coming? THAT makes you think. I will pray for him as well.
