ok so my not so educated internet research tells me this.

the first link is for a 17" front rim that is 2.5" wide

our stock rear is 100mm = 3.94"

so providing i can find a set of street tire or super moto dot approved tires i could do a real cheap conversion
$239 for the front rim
$50 or so for spokes
$??? labor to relace and true
$??? misc stuff (rim tape)
$??? set of tires

think it could be done for under $500? i will mount the tires myself.

our rear rim is 2.15 in width by 18 for the 09 with 36 spokes so why cant i buy another stock rear and stock spokes for the rear and lace them to my front hub giving me 2 18s with street tires
