Anyone riding in the Osceola Nat'l Forest?
I rode down to get information on riding the bike in Osceola National Forest this past Saturday and both the ranger station and the Depot were closed. I was on the 1600 Nomad so didn't go in far, but did go about a mile or so down a dirt road and came upon about a dozen 4-wheelers of all ages who were stopped for a break. Information from one of the men who seemed to know said that a bike that is street legal and licensed can ride all of the roads and trails in the forest. He also said the best trails were North of I-10.
Wonder if any of you guys down in that area could give me some information as to the quality of the trails and roads and if it's worth pulling the bike down there for a ride? Also if so, I'd like to ride with some of you some time.
Thanks in advance for the info.

Hey tconnell, the person you spoke with was correct. I usually do not make it that far north....Ocala National Forest is about as far north as I go for daily rides. Lots of folks ride that forest on the advrider site. Go to the regional section, then Flatistan
Lots of good folks.....check them out, perhaps I'll see you out in the scrub this winter.
