Anyone change brake pads??
While i was taking off my sprockets i looked at the brake pads... looks like i need to replace them... bikebandit says they are gonna be like 33$ for front and 31$ for the rear pads... The bike has 7800 miles on it now. anxious to see what 13/45 does...
That washer that you have to bend to remove the front sprocket... how many of you have replaced it.... this will be the second sprocket up front, and im not sure if i should replace it...

RE: Anyone change brake pads??
I replaced my rear brake brake pads after getting some chain lube on the rear disk they never worked right after that, I replaced with a set of EBC pads and they feel much better then the stock pads ever did.
I switched out my front sprocket and then later went back to the stock sprocket, the second time I switched out sprockets I installed a new washer, the dealer had it in-stock for under $4 and it just seamed like a good idea to me even though I hit that nut hard with an air gun.

Under $4 bucks, change it out every other time seems like cheap insurance. If you are doing mostly dirt riding you will love the sprocket change. But if you are on the street a lot you might be like me and always looking for that "7th" gear. I like it for the riding I do.
