is anybody using an acerbis tank with a tm33 carby
having cold starting issues ever since i put on the acerbis tank. when warm is fine. the angles of the fuel lines are very bad, you need loops of fuel line to get the to meet.
what i have done
removed the fuel filter from the fuel line(the tank has one)
dumped the fuel
new spark plug
put the fuel lines in with least amount of tunes etc.
i have bills 351 arriving very shorty and would like to have this problem fix before then, i have a slight feeling that with the larger bore it may start easier.
any ideas?

I just remembered I had trouble when I put the carb on my bike not with starting but with range. When I put the Mikuni on the fuel hose was a bit kinked, so I got a fuel filter and extra bit of hose thinking it would be better but I was then running out of fuel after about 40 - 50 km instead of over 120 km. I removed the filter and extra hose and it was fine. I had the stock tank.
hmmm, just started with out fuss then, and you story makes sense and would explane why i only got 200km out of tank last week. ill try and start it tonight when it is dead cold.
