Is this the same TM36-68 that has received good review for the S? Fits and ops better than the BB modded 33 to 34? Why "twitchy?" Just trying to understand a pumper before jumping in...any why I would really want one?

Yes its a direct drop in and go. When I say twitchy. For me it was almost too responsive for street use. But thats my personell experience others may like it. Now on an S I've heard it does great things. Why do you need one? Why not???? Lol only thing I can tell you is try it and if you don't like it turn around and sell it and make your money back.

Mine just came in the mail today, unfortunately, I shattered my clutch wheel Friday, so I am waiting on clutch parts.. I did drop in the p6 nj and 17.5 slow jet.. new needle and am anxiously waiting to see what it does with the 351 kit. I understand that you can adjust the fuel injection to suit your riding style.. I may play with this carb for a while thats what makes it so cool..

Somebody buy that damn carb so I don't have to!

If I wasn't so invested in a tm33, I'd be on that like stink on poop.

I installed the tm36 pumper tonite perfect fit, rerouted both return and throttle cables no issues there.. bolts right up. Fired right up too.. didnt run the bike more than a second as it has no oil and waiting for the dam clutch pressure plate.. hope to have some fun tuning this thing.. one thing i noticed is that the pump pumps real slow.. for a few secs after the initial throttle pull.. .this looks very interesting like a slow steady injection of fuel..
