Default Another ticking question

I hope reading about these ticking noises just has me paranoid, but I was riding today without ear plugs for the 1st time in a long time and I noticed a high pitched, regular ticking/clicking. I could only hear it when I moved my legs away from the bike, I think they were blocking the sound. I could only hear it when I was applying throttle. If I let off, the noise would go away. I couldn't hear it when in neutral and throttling though. I checked to make sure it's not something loose like license plate or plastics etc. but all was tight. The sound /seems/ to come from under the tank but I couldn't tell which side. Seemed to make the noise at all rpm levels.

Normal? Ideas?

Chain on the countersprocket? Especially if you have a non-stock 14T countersprocket which has some rubber sound dampener, or if the chain in dry. Of course, the ticking frequency should increase with speed if this is the culprit.

Yeah...chain on sprocket. I bet if you tighten your chain, the noise will go away.

Keep the chain at the loose end of the tension spec.

This one happened to me with my off road bikes. Too tight a chain. I'd go with his advice. Passed on to me some time ago, and has helped save me from me!
I do silly things. A lot.

I checked the chain and it seems ok. I tried moving up spot on the adjuster and it was too tight so I took it back down.

I uploaded a short video with the high-pitched click. Youtube seems to smooth it out a bit but hopefully it still comes across. Does this sound abnormal:

Sounds OK to me.
I too, vote for the chain.

I thought I heard a little cam chain slap there for a moment, but difficult to tell for sure. This will be heard more on the right side. Drive chain and countersprocket on left side.

I'm not sure how helpful that was. It might be beneficial to let off and then accelerate a few times to hear the transition in the noise...perhaps?
