Another Newbie !!
Its back in the wind for me. I havent been on 2 wheels for over 10 years. I had major elbow surgery and live in a congested area and just could not stomach the idiots on cell phones that dont look around. After my buddy got taken out by an old lady, I parked the bikes and sold them off. Got a few sleds for the winter and and ATV for summer fun in the mud. Saw an older KLR 250 and thought about buying it, just to play in the woods with my racing buddies. Then the gas prices skyrocketed, and it was all I needed to convice me, so I started looking around. Local dealers only had the 2009 models and had no interest in making deals, so I found a left over 2007. Its on the truck getting shipped up to me ( its 1400 miles away) I cant wait. It looks like after reading this forum I will have no problems modifying it so I can keep up with my racing buddies.
