Stock rear is 42. Running 13 front is the same as a 14:45 combo...or one down on the front is like adding 3 to the rear. I ran a 14:49 for a while, but now I'm running 14:45 seems about right for me with the 350 and a soon to be ported head.

Your mileage may vary.

I have a 13T front and stock rear, If I get a 45T Rear do I need a bigger chain?
Uhhhh how about a 46T rear... Same question?

If I need a bigger chain do I need a whole new chain that is longer to can I just a a couple links to my stock chain?
Thanks.

Mathmatically as 12T/42T is about the same as 13T/45T
Hmmm 14:49 Mullet ran for awhile is the same as a 12:42... again mathmatically... But am I misssing something???

Anybody run a 12T front? Same stock chain with that setup?

I run a 12t front and the chain will fit that way but you will have to adjust it almost all the way out so I just removed a link and it work great just not great for road speeds though.

Verruckt, What was your new top speed with the 12T/42T setup?
easier to get the front end up?
